Who am I and What do I do?

My name is Jamie Gargett MSc and I run JAMIEGARGETT.COM from my studio log cabin at home. I am a ISRM/BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma Soft Tissue Therapist, VTCT Trained Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, UKCC Level 2 registered Judo Coach and British Judo Association 2nd Dan Black Belt.

I have an active interest in all areas of soft tissue therapy, sports massage and remedial massage with a specialism in helping humans move better and hurt less.

I have a background in emergency trauma care (Hampshire Ambulance Service) and regularly keep up to date with sports related soft-tissue treatment.

I enjoy mountain biking and road cycling having completed the South Downs Way in a Day and also the UK L’Etape 100. In addition to this I follow a strength & conditioning programme and I am in regular contact with high level physical trainers and performance coaches.

Professional development is something I actively engage in and I hold membership with the Sports Massage Association and the Sports Therapy Association. I am fully insured through Balens Ltd and hold First Aid, Safeguarding and Enhanced DBS certificates.
